There’s this. Just to be transparent- my beef is not that the friends are all white. That is for sure some people’s reality. Hell, A LOT of people’s experiences (no judgement and this goes across color lines). My beef is the monochromatic way they paint “gritty” NY or the fact that some high profile articles have called it “the voice of a generation”.
